Week 20 & 21 @ KSU's UXD Program

These past two weeks were informative for me regarding the design and output of a Final Report for a few reasons:

  1. I had to figure out what the client wanted in a Final Report
  2. I had to learn how to create a highlight video
  3. I had to simplify a lot of data and insights from my research

I thought building a video highlight would be pretty simple, but as I found out it is so difficult because of all the pieces involved such as, multiple volumes of participants, quality of the final video, the learning curve picking up movie editing software, and figuring how to remove clips of the participant's silence while still communicating how difficult the task is for viewers.

All in all, it was a difficult yet very productive couple of weeks that have prepared me for corporate work when I finally move into a UX position. Having gone through this has definitely calmed my nerves in understanding what clients want in a Final Report.
